A town in New Jersey has found itself covered in mysterious knitting! The “midnight knitters” have slowly adorned trees, signs and even pay phones around the city with their brightly colored yarn creations. The police in West Cape May are investigating the knitting, which has been deemed “graffiti.” Meanwhile, the knitters, who describe themselves as “mystery knitters who are sick of knittin kitten mittens,” have started a website, Facebook and Myspace pages, and gained national media attention.
